Whether you identify as a Witch or not, you are carrying the remnants of The Witch Wound.
The women burned, drowned, hanged or otherwise executed or ostracized because of witch trials and witch hunts weren't witches. They were women who were independent and/or had something that the men wanted or found threatening.
(Some of them probably were witches, but that actually had nothing to do with the accusations.) They were targeted because they owned land, made their own money, didn't go to church or did other things that meant they weren't subservient to and dependent on men.
Witches were demonized so the men in charge could keep strong women quiet and scared.
When you start an opinion with "I may be wrong, but" or end it with "does that makes sense?" - it's The Witch Wound.
When you people please or avoid conflict - it's The Witch Wound.
When you defer to someone else to make decisions for you - it's The Witch Wound.
When you tamp down the weird, wonderful and wacky parts of yourself so the patriarchy approves of you - it's The Witch Wound.
Which makes sense because historically those things could mean life or death.
And while we aren't usually put on literal trial anymore for being witches, it can still often feel very dangerous to be independent, go against societal norms or voice opinions.
Which is why we'll be talking about Embracing Your Inner Witch at the final Witch's Brew of 2023. I'll be sharing my personal experience with The Witch Wound, talking about how your Human Design influences your identity and how to bring your witchy side into the light- whatever that means for you.
Join me next Thursday, October 26! And invite your friends!
Do you have an Inner Witch (Mermaid, Goddess, Supreme Court Justice, Wild Child) or strong opinion that's been hiding inside of you? As your coach I can help you figure out what that is and how to make it your reality.
Let's get started. Schedule a consult so we can talk about working together.
During the consult we'll talk about what you're looking for and what's missing. I'll lay out a process to help you get there. And then we'll decide if we want to move forward. Either way, you'll get info about your chart and some strategies you can implement right away.
