There's No Such Thing as the Right Decision

The concept of making "the right decision" is completely made up.

But so many of you spend lots of time and energy trying to figure out the "right" decision in any given situation. And/or beating yourself up after a decision is made because you tell yourself it wasn't the right one.

The problem with labeling something as the right decision is that it's based on the outcome of the decision.

Let's say you decide to leave your job to start a new one and then a few months later the company is bought out and your role is eliminated. You would probably tell yourself that you made the wrong decision to leave your previous job.

But you likely had no way of knowing that this would happen so it couldn't have been a factor in your decision. You can't predict the future and account for every possibility. By this logic we won't ever know if we've made the right decisions until we're dead.

Which is why you want to forget about the idea of right decisions and learn to make aligned decisions.

Aligned decisions are different than "right" decisions because they are based on the process you follow, not the outcome. When you focus on the process you can trust that you are making the best decision for you with the information you have available.

We all have a natural way of making decisions which is known as your Authority in Human Design. When you make decisions using the process directed by your Authority it's an aligned decision.

For example, if you have Sacral Authority you make decisions by trusting your gut and going with your first instinct. But if you have Mental Authority you need to talk through decisions with someone else in order to reach a conclusion.

Making aligned decisions means you aren't doing endless research, seeking opinions and validation from other people, worrying about things that may happen in the future or avoiding the decision altogether.

Instead you're building trust within yourself by following your process to reach calm, clear decisions.

Start to build that trust with yourself today. Understand your Human Design Authority and start following that process to make decisions.

You can also look back at some previous decisions and evaluate if you used your Authority's process. Even if you didn't know about it before you've probably intuitively followed it some of the time. Compare decisions you made following your process and those that went against your process.

What was the difference in how you felt? How easily you reached a decision? How you felt about it afterward regardless of the outcome?

As your coach I can help you understand your Human Design Authority so you can start making aligned decisions. Make indecision and fear of making the wrong decision a thing of the past.

Schedule a consult to get started so we can talk about working together and see if it's a good fit.

During the consult we'll talk about what you're looking for and what's missing. I'll lay out a process to help you get there. And then we'll decide if we want to move forward. Either way, you'll get info about your chart and some strategies you can implement right away.
